BarkBox {March 2015}

Time for another fun-filled BarkBox! Chelsea gets more and more excited every time her box comes. This month's theme was "Island Paradise".
 First thing in the box was an Etta Says! Buffalo Chew ($3). I love these because they have absolutely no artificial filles, coloring or preservatives. Chelsea loves them too and they keep her entertained for a while.
 Next up is one of the coolest dog treats I have seen. The Yeti Corp Golden Nuggets ($8) are made from Nepali yak and cow milk, salt and lime juice. They just go in the microwave for one minute and you got a tasty biscuit type treat for your pup! Here is a before and after:
 We also got some Etta Says! Toasted Coconut Bitz ($7). These things totally smell like the beach. We've been using them as Chelsea's training treats and she is loving them!
 And for toys we got a Swag Co. Parrot ($9) and a PetProjekt Squeeki Tiki ($8) which are being extremely loved by the pup. She loves them both.
 And, of course, your monthly dose of cuteness:

LootCrate {February 2015}

The February LootCrate has arrived! The theme this month was "Play" but I am not extremely impressed this time around. This is the 4th out of six crates in our plan and we don't think we will be renewing after that. Some of the stuff is really nice but we just can't really afford it again. Also, running out of space to put what I categorize as "random crap" and I really, really don't want to turn into one of those people from Hoarders, even if I were hoarding neat stuff.
 In the crate we got a 9x13 Waka-Waka Poster. Pretty cute but I'm sure it's not going up on the wall anytime soon. I will save it for when we actually have a game room. We also got an Exclusive Firefly Online Premium Ship Unlock Code. I think the hubby wants that, but I'll give it a try if he doesn't.
 I had a very interested companion while taking pictures of the LootCrate.
 One of my favorite things of the crate was DIY Munny Figure! I am super excited to decorate this one but have a lot of ideas and not sure which way to go. It'll come to me eventually, I guess.
 Next up is the Exclusive Looter Edition Superfight Card Game. We have never played this before but we will certainly give it a try!
 My absolute favorite this month was this. They sent a book! Ready Player One, a novel by Ernest Cline. I was so excited when I found it. It looks super cool and the review says "Willy Wonka meets the Matrix" and that definitely catches my attention. I will be ready this for my "in the future" book for the 2015 reading challenge.
 Also in the box were these Exclusive Rock-Paper-Scissors dice game and I love them! It's a pretty neat addition to our game night shtuff.
 And last, we got a HEX Bug. It glows in the dark too. I am still debating if I should save it for my nephew or freak out Chelsea with it. What do you think?
 I really loved the artwork in this months little magazine that comes with the crate. I swear, if the controller cable heart image was in one piece I would also be saving it to frame for the game room.
 That was it for this month's box! Now, to wait what the March one will bring us!

Ipsy Glam Bag {January 2015}

Hello everyone! It's time for another Ipsy Bag! Today I will be reviewing my January 2014 bag. The theme for this month was "Fresh Start" and as usual, I was happy with the contents of my bag. And I say happy because lately I have seen a lot of hate and complains on Ipsy's Instagram and I really don't get it. This subscription is $10 a month. $10. Shipped to your freaking doorstep.You have, more than likely, paid more than that for a meal at a fast food place.Yet these women on Instagram keep complaining about the products they get in the bag. Listen, the idea for this thing is to try new things. If you're not happy with it, unsubscribe... or EMAIL Ipsy, even though they have a pretty great disclaimer about the stuff you're getting. There are other subscription boxes you can try if you are not happy. Me? I am loving it.

Also, the Ipsy people DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE on Instagram. They have thousands upon thousands of subscribers. You really can't expect for them to actually give a shit, and match your Ipsy account with your Instagram account when you say "Don't send me more eyeliner" or crap like that. If you don't like the eyeliner you got, there are Ipsy trading pages all over Facebook, there's also eBay, there's also something fantabulous called friends, cousins, nieces, co-workers. I am sure someone will take it off your hands. Ok, rant over for now. On to the bag!

This month, the actual bag is quite pretty, in royal blue, white and orange. Perfect size for an on-the-go make up bag. I will be using this one to carry some "Emergency" supplies in my car (Band-aids, Chapstick, Antibac, Rubber Bands, Safety pins, you catch my drift.)

In my bag I got the Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush ($6 on their website, $4.49 on Amazon as an add-on). I love this brush. It is perfect for applying gel eyeliner.
Speaking of Gel Eyeliner, also in my bag was the JCat Fantabulous Gel Eye Liner ($3.99) in 102F, a gorgeous blue black color. I was very pleased to get this in a color that wasn't black, since I already own a black one. Its consistency is great, it goes on smoothly and stays put throughout the day.
Also in the bag, was a sample size, 0.27oz, of the Manna Kadar Sheer Glo Shimmer Lotion ($29 For the 1oz. Full Size on their website, $34 on Amazon) I was a tad disappointed by this one. It looked SO pretty in the tube, but when I swatched it on the back of my hand it almost disappeared. However, I decided to give it a chance using it as a highlighter and it does a pretty nice job, gives you a very subtle glow that I really like. It also works great as a shimmery eye shadow base. I do find it a bit pricy so I don't think I will be purchasing it again.
My favorite thing in the bag was the Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow. I can't find any singles for sale online, but a four piece palette is $14 on their website. I am in love with this eye shadow, and I love the color even more. I have used it as an eye shadow and as a highlighter and it's just gorgeous. It's very smooth and it reflects light beautifully.
And last but not least is the Nourish Organic Renewing Eye Cream made with Avocado and Argan. ( $19.99 on their website). I can't possibly give you a full review on this one, since these products tend to work overtime but so far, so good. I like the texture and consistency and it doesn't have a scent which I really appreciate. It makes my eye area feel tight and refreshed.

So that was it for January! If you do the math, it's roughly $42.48 worth of products, not counting the bag, for $10. And that, my friends, is pretty cool in my book. If you want in on Ipsy, please consider joining by using the following referral link:

 It will give me some points that I can later redeem for beauty products.

Thank you so much for reading!

BarkBox {February 2015}

Hi everyone! It's BarkBox time! This month's theme was Mardi Gras. This month I realized that Chelsea now knows when BarkBox day is. She sees my husband walk in holding it and she goes absolutely insane and can't wait for us to open it! I will try to record it next time because it is ridiculously adorable. We really like this month's box, it's always so fun!
The first thing in the box is the PetSafe Catfish Po'Boy with Chicken treats ($7 Value). We haven't given these to Chelsea yet because they fresh and must be refrigerated and consumed within 3 days after opening.
Next up is the Delca Jester Ball ($7 Value). Chelsea loves this thing, the squeaker was gone in two minutes!
... and that's the face I get when I'm trying to photograph her goodies. Seconds after these shots the ball was snatched off the table.
Also in the box is the Aussie Naturals Salmon Quarter Cigar ($3 Value). I have been advised to beware of the fish smell when giving this to Chelsea, so she won't be getting it until Thursday because I am having people over tomorrow.
This toy was also a big hit with Chelsea, not so much with me. The Harry Barker Mardi Gras Crinkle Mask ($10 Value) looks great but it has a faux fur backing that she just completely shredded soooo yeah, now I have black hairs all over my floor and I'm putting this away until Thursday as well.
Last but not least, is the Think! Dog Crawfish Snacks ($7 Value), they are small, chewy and perfect for rewarding good behavior. Chelsea is crazy about them!
BarkBox really is awesome! If you would like to sign up for BarkBox, follow my referral link:

LootCrate {January 2015}

Hello there! Time for a new LootCrate. This month's theme was "Rewind" and we got a lot of really cool retro goodies.
 The first thing in our crate is a Star Wars Exclusive Comic Book Issue 001. Apparently it's about Han and Chewie protecting the crate.
 Next up is the Exclusive retro arcade skinny tie by Black Tie Geek. It is beautiful! One of my favorite things this month.
We also got at exclusive 10-Doh! Figure in the shape of a Nintendo cartridge. There were different ones, I was hoping for the Doctor Who one but we got a Fifth Element one, which is one of my favorite movies so it's OK. I love what it says on the back!
 My favorite thing in the crate was this Comic Note Book. I have no idea what I am going to do with it but I love notebooks :)
 I am a little jealous of this month's T-Shirt! I love the blueprint design.
 And last but not least, the Exclusive 8-Bit glasses. Gonna be rocking these this summer!
Thanks for stopping by! Can't wait to see what we'll get in the February crate!

Love, Zayda
