Ipsy Glam Bag {August 2015}

Well hello, there! It's been a while since I've stopped by. My poor, neglected blog. Maybe someday I'll get better at this. Ha! For now I leave you with the August Ipsy Glam Bag. It's the latest I've received, and I'm hoping September and October come soon!

The theme for this bag was "Prep School" and I looove the houndstooth print bag.
 The first item in my bag was the Marc Anthony Argan Oil of Morocco. I have no idea how much this costs because it is sold through retailers and not online, but it seems pretty awesome and it smells amazing!
 Next up is the LAFresh Group Eco-Beauty Good night. Night Cream. It is a little bit thick for my taste but I am willing to give it a try until the sample runs out and we'll see how my skin feels (Full Size $40.00 on their website, puts sample at about $6)
 Also in the bag was the OFRA Cosmetics lipliner in Wine. I must say I was a little disappointed in this one. I have been hearing great things about OFRA lately with Kathleen Lights making a gorgeous lippie with them, and now they're releasing two highlighters that look fantastic, but this liner was just soooo rough! The application isn't smooth at all, even though the color is beautiful. ($13.00 on their website)
 My favorite item in this month's bag was the BellaPierre lipstick in P.I.N.K. I freaking love it. It's the perfect shade of hot pink for me and it is so soft and smooth and moisturizing. Now to put it to the test and see how long lasting it is! ($19.99 on their website)
 Last but not least is the Glamour Dolls eyeshadow in Sorcery. A beautiful shade of Copper. I have noticed that Ipsy sends this shade A LOT, but hey, you can never have too many neutrals, right? I really like this eyeshadow! Great color and consistency. ($3.99 on their website)

And that was it for the August bag! If you do the math, it's around $43.00 worth of products, not counting the bag or the Argan Oil because I don't know how much it was, for only $10. Isn't that awesome? If you want in on Ipsy, please consider joining by using the following referral link:

Ipsy Glam Bag {July 2015}

I am SO excited to be actually posting the July Glam Bag... IN JULY. I know. I get excited for dumb crap. But still. It's here! The theme this month is Summer Lovin' and this bag is so, very summery.
 The bag itself is super cute and I love these colors. I would probably wear something in that print.
 The first product in my bag is the Vasanti Cosmetics Brighten Up! Exfoliating Cleanser and it is amazeballs. Yes. I said amazeballs. I kinda want to wash my face with it all day, every day. ($10.00)
I also got the Octavio Molina Hair La Playa Salt Spray which, unfortunately, spilled in my bag, but Ipsy is being freaking awesome and sending me a replacement! The spray is the bomb if you want those beachy ($15.50 for the full size, $7.75 sample size)
 The next item in the bag, and the one I am most excited about, is the Tarte Deluxe Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer and it is as awesome as I expected. I absolutely love Tarte but it is usually out of my budget so I am always stoked when it comes in my Ipsy bag, and the fact that it is waterproof makes it even better for this sweaty, gross Neapolitan Summer. (Full Size $30.00, sample size about $10.00)
 I also got Crown Brush Professional Tweezers which are just, well, tweezers. I was not too excited about getting these in my bag, but... well, you can't never have too many tweezers! ($6.99)
 Last but not least, is the Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 Shadow Liner and it is very nice. Quite smooth and great application! ($15.95)
And that was it for the July bag! If you do the math, it's around $50.69 worth of products, not counting the bag, for only $10. Isn't that awesome? If you want in on Ipsy, please consider joining by using the following referral link:

Ipsy Glam Bag {June 2015}

Catching up, catching up! Here is the June Glam Bag from Ipsy! The theme was "Swim Into Beauty" and I'm pretty sure the glam bag is waterproof! (I'm not willing to test it with important stuff inside, though) It will make a great addition to my beach/pool bag.
 The first and most awesome item in my bag was the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. I've had my eye on this primer and it did not disappoint. Smashbox is my favorite brand (followed closely by Too Faced) so after trying this, I might have to bite the bullet and buy the full size when I run out of my current primer. (Full size $36, Ipsy Sample $9)
 I also got a brush this time, and I LOVE getting brushes. My options for brushes in Italy are not that great so it's always to try new ones via Ipsy. The Glamierre Flat Top Concealer Brush does a great job and I really like it! ($5.95)
 Another great item in this bag was the Tre'Stique Mini Shadow Crayon in Venetian Gold. This eyeshadow crayon goes on smoothly and the color payoff is fantastic (Trio for $32, puts mini crayon at around $10.60)
 Also in my bag was the J.Cat Beauty Liptitude Hydrating Lip Stain. The color is great and it stays forever. ($5.99)
And the last item is a BioRepublic Sheet Mask Trio. I was very excited to get these because I love getting sheet masks in Korea, and this ones are just as awesome. They might be a tad more expensive but oh well. ($35.99 for an 8-Pack, Trio rounds up at about $13.49)
And that was the June bag! If you do the math, it's around $45.03 worth of products, not counting the bag, for $10. Isn't that awesome? If you want in on Ipsy, please consider joining by using the following referral link:

Ipsy Glam Bag {May 2015}

Ok, so, I'm finally catching up on posting the past few glam bags, so now it is time for the May 2015 glam bag! The theme for this month was Jetsetter and I LOVE the bag. I will be using it for my Passport and travel documents, because, you know, pretty important stuff.
 The first item in my bag is the Klorane Smoothing & Relaxing Patches. I got two sets of them. I was excited about them because I used to buy A LOT of these in Korea (not this brand) and they did wonders for the *fabulous* bags under my eyes. However, these ones didn't really do much. I am willing to give them another try just because I had cried a lot the day I tested these, but my hopes are not high. If anything changes I'll come and do an update. No price for these because I can't find how much they are anywhere on their website which is VERY weird for an Ipsy product. I mean, they even have a link on the glam bag page to buy them... Oh well.
 The next item, and one of my favorites, is the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better® CC+® Cream with SPF 50+. This ish is amazing and I love it. (Full Size is $38.00, but I can't find its size on the website, so I have no way to ballpark the cost of the sample)
 Also in the bag was the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil + BONUS Revolution High-Color Lipgloss. The glide on pencil is great for priming and avoid feathering, and the little lip gloss samples are pretty nice. Color payoff is not great and I probably wouldn't spend the money on the lip glosses but it was nice to try them! (Pencil is $20 for the full size, the sample is about $13.30)
 I loved the Skone Pretty Eyes Automatic Eyeliner in Navy. It applies smoothly and the color is gorgeous, however it did smudge fairly easy. I will still use it, just not on very hot sunny days. ($15)
The last item in my bag is the Briogeo Rosarco Milk reparative leave-in conditioning spray. I love the way it smells! It really hasn't done much for my hair, but truth is, it is extremely damaged right now so I would be really surprised if any product could do something to make it better. (Full size is $20, Sample size, about $4). And you get a bonus appearance by Nipsey, the cat, who was staying with us for a little while and was very curious about my Ipsy bag.
Are you curious? Ipsy is only $10 a month. If you want in on Ipsy, please consider joining by using the following referral link:

Ipsy Glam Bag {April 2015}

It's time for the April Ipsy Glam Bag! The theme was Beautifully Bohemian and it was inspired, in part by Coachella.

The bag is adorable and sorta Hippie-Chic. I really, really like it. It also reminds me of Colombian handmade stuff which makes me like it even more. Also, just FYI, I hate how these photos turned out. Bad lighting, bad mood, absolutely ZERO desire to repeat them.
 The first item in my bag, and my favorite for this month is theBalm Cosmetics NUDE Dude Eyeshadow Single. I fell in love with the texture and color of this eyeshadow. I might eventually buy the whole palette when I hit pan on my UD Naked2. Also I am a sucker for packaging and I love this one! ($36 for the Palette, $3 for the single)
 The next item is the MICABeauty Eye Primer. I have to say I was not very excited to get this in my bag because I am always skeptical about "solid" eyeshadow primers. I don't know. I just feel like the less I have to rub something on my eyelids, the better. However, I did try it and guess what? It is such a good product. The eyeshadow stays forever. It does have a hefty price tag so I don't think I will be buying it anytime soon, because, you know. Priorities. (Full size $44.95. Sample size $22.47)
 Another product that was slightly disappointing at first but I then grew to love is this Mullein & Sparrow Mini Lip & Cheek Tinted Balm. I totally dismissed it and didn't like it at first, but now it has become a great addition to my gym bag. Also, do check out their website, it is beautiful and it kinda makes me want to buy all their products. ($10)
 Also in my bag was this LATHER Ultra Light Face Lotion and it is very nice for an everyday moisturizer. As usual, I love the travel size. (Full size, $21.00, sample size $10.50)
 Another favorite from April is the Hikari Cosmetics Blush in Tango. It is the perfect shade for my skin color and I love its fancy packaging. Just beautiful ($15)
And that was the March bag! If you do the math, it's around $60.97 worth of products, not counting the bag, just for $10. Isn't that great? If you want in on Ipsy, please consider joining by using the following referral link:

Ipsy Glam Bag {March 2015}

Sooo, there has been a ton of stuff happening lately and I haven't stopped by the blog in a long time, so, months and months later, here is the March Glam Bag!

The theme for the March 2015 bag was Floral Fantasy. I am in absolute LOVE with the bag itself. I have been using it for my GPS but I might find it another use soon. I really like the colors. I kinda want to wear it!

In my bag, I got the MARSK Mineral Eyeshadow in Fifty Shades and I LOVE IT. It is beautiful and smooth and shimmery and everything you want in a loose eyeshadow. (Full Size is $22.50, sample size about $7.50)

 Next up is the Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter. This is my new favorite eyebrow highlighter, however I don't think I will ever be purchasing it unless I start making big bucks because it's a little out of my price range for one little pencil. ($18, not sure if this is the full size but looks like it.)

Also in my bag, was this amazing lipstick. The NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipstick is just gorgeous and it goes on so smoothly and it makes my lips feel moisturized. I'm definitely buying a bunch of these when I need more lipstick ($6)

I normally prefer Make-Up Items in my bag, but was pleasantly surprised by the Pur-Lisse Pur-delicate Gentle Soymilk Cleanser and Make-Up Remover. It makes my skin feels super clean and nice and it is the perfect size for traveling. (Full Size is $36.00, which puts our sample size at $6.40)

 Last but not least is the Coolway Glow Oil Treatment. This is really one of the best hair oils I have tried, and it smells amazing! (Full size $29.95, sample size would be about $3.00)
And that was the March bag! If you do the math, it's around $40.90 worth of products, not counting the bag, for $10. Isn't that awesome? If you want in on Ipsy, please consider joining by using the following referral link:
