BarkBox {January 2015}

Hi everyone! It's BarkBox time again and with this post I am caught up on all our subscription boxes posts until something new arrives. This month's box was the Ice Age box! Very appropriate for winter.
 This month, Chelsea got: Complete Natural Nutrition Off-Leash Twigs. They are made of all natural turkey and pumpkin from Canada. They are also grain free. {$8 Value}
 Also in the box was the BarkMade Wooly Mammoth. Chelsea loves this guy. It's currently her favorite toy and I am surprised she hasn't ripped him to pieces {$8 value} like she did with the Delca Corp Adorable Snowman, a BarkBox exclusive. This one didn't stand a chance. In 5 minutes all his guts were spread on the floor. She still loves playing with his empty carcass. {$11 value}
 We also got Aussie Naturals Salmon Skin Training Treat Nibbles. Chelsea loves chewing on these! {$8 Value}
 And last but not least, the Heartland Premium Rib, made from all American USDA approved beef!We haven't given Chelsea this one yet but I am sure she will love it just as much as all the other stuff.
 And of course, bonus picture of Chelsea being mad at me while I photograph her goodies. Sorry, pup, here, you can have them.
Thank you very much for stopping by!

Love,
Zayda

BarkBox {November - December 2014}

Hello, hello! Trying to get back at blogging here. Life is slowly but surely going back to normal after a crazy PCS and I am settling into life in Italy. The absolute best thing about this move is having our baby back. We missed her so, so much while we were in Korea. As soon as we settled in our new house, we signed her up for BarkBox. I had been looking at the BarkBox website for months, waiting for the moment when I could finally have my pup back and see her get happy mail every month! We signed her up for the small box and so far we have not been disappointed at all! She absolutely loves everything that comes in her box and, after three boxes, she already recognizes BarkBox day and goes berserk when the hubby shows up from work holding the box. In this post I will show you the stuff she got in her first two boxes, November and December.

November 2014 BarkBox

 The November 2014 BarkBox included some great stuff! You will not see an individual photo of the little Chef Hedgehog because it was covered in drool and a total mess five seconds after handing it to her. She adores it. The squeaker was done in a day but two months later she still plays with the little guy.
 These Daily Essentials Chicken Jerky treats were fantastic. They smelled SO good that I was actually a little tempted to try one. In case you were wondering, No, I did not.
 This pretzel toy was the bomb. It was her absolute favorite in this box. Even though it is a though toy, she has completely tore it down, yet she won't give it up. Right now it looks like a dead snake. Or a pile of poop.
The chewing stick was a big hit as well and kept her entertained for a while, and last but not least, Grandma Bowser's Country Oven Bisquits. They were cheddar flavored and Chelsea went crazy for them!

December 2014 BarkBox

 The December BarkBox was pretty cool as well! It was so wintery and cute! Themed boxes are the best.
 First up, Polka Dog Sfizis: Lucky Duck Recipe. She loves them! They're small and perfect for training. {$6 Value}
Next is the Etta Says Rabbit Chew. This one was also fantastic at keeping her entertained! {$3 Value}
 Excuse the picture of the Stoggie Fetch Stick, that's how much she loves it! {$8 Value} she also loves the Simply Fido Penguin with Crinkle Body, but that one has stood the test of Chelsea's teeth for a little bit longer! {$12 Value}
 Last but not least, something she probably doesn't enjoy as much as I did but I think it's adorable and it is this Safemade Holiday Tartan Bandana {$5 Value}. It's great quality and it is reversible, so she can wear it year-round.
That was it for today, friends! I'll be coming back soon with January's BarkBox (It arrived yesterday and it is just as cool!) Thanks for stopping by and if you want to get BarkBox for your furbaby, shoot me a message and I will send you a cool promo code!

Love,
Zayda

PS: I'm not sure how am I supposed to do this, BUT, No. BarkBox is not compensating me (Or Chelsea!) in any way to endorse their product. We just love it THAT much.

Cafe Gaene

Have I told you I love dogs?
I love dogs.
I love dogs more than words can express.

If you know me, you know that when we moved to Korea we weren't allowed to bring our pup Chelsea with us, so she had to stay with our family in Colombia while my husband is stationed here. We miss her so, SO much. Every once in a while, we need our puppy fix and back in March (Yes, March, don't judge me.) we visited Cafe Gaene for the first time.

There are so many beautiful dogs. When you get the menu, you also get a chart with their photos and their names so you can call them over to your table and know which ones are not so friendly!
Can someone please explain these to me?
 The entrance price to Cafe Gaene is 8,000KRW and it includes a drink and unlimited puppy cuddles. The husband had an iced coffee and I had a peach tea.
Most of the dogs at Cafe Gaene are very friendly, but you can definitely see that they're also tired. Playing with so many humans can wear any pooch out! The daschsunds (Sp?) are just happy to snuggle in your lap all day long.
We feel bad for these guys sometimes... they definitely don't have that much room to play, and they have people messing with them all the time, but I guess I am just happy that they have a home and people who actually pay to go play with them. You can also tell that the staff absolutely adores them.
 I know a lot of people say that this place is dirty and whatnot, but I really don't think so! They make sure that you sanitize your hands before entering and they're always very quick to clean any "accident" that may happen. The place is a little run down, furniture has holes here and there but seriously, we're talking about over 20 dogs in one place. It's going to happen.

Overall, we had a great time at Cafe Gaene. I wish Chelsea was here so I could bring her with me so she could play with all the other dogs.
