Ipsy Glam Bag {December 2014}

It's Ipsy time! So. I'm getting old, there's no use in denying it and well, I've started wearing a little (lot) more make up since, you know, I'm not 18 anymore. I've been getting a little more into make up since moving to Korea and became obsessed with all the cute beauty products and now, well, I just like it a lot. I am not someone who wears make up on a daily basis. I don't think I could ever be that person, but I do like to wear it when we're going out. After moving to Italy, I started having serious Korea Beauty Shop withdrawals so I figured I'd sign up for a beauty monthly subscription. Also because finding some brands in Italy is tough. We have Sephora but it's super expensive, and the NEX doesn't really carry a lot of stuff. I looked at BirchBox, Glossybox, Boxycharm... but I decided to go with Ipsy because it was more affordable and it feels more fun too. Well, long story short, it took FOREVER to get here. Seriously. They had already shipped January's bag and the December one hadn't arrived. I learned, through a friend, that the bag will arrive at the end of THE NEXT month. Which is why I just got the December bag. I don't mind it, I had to wait a long time for the first one but now they will arrive monthly, but it sucks that I don't get to participate in the monthly fun of everyone posting their bags and having chances to win giveaways. Any way, on to the bag:

December 2014 - "Thinking of You"
The bag itself is adorable and the perfect size to carry in my purse or take on a short trip. I love the little heart that came attached to the zipper so I might add it to my keychain or camera bag.
 It included a beautiful postcard that says "You are a Brave Soul". Hell yeah, I am. I set it up on my desk on a little picture holder for those days when I'm not feeling so brave.
 The first product is the Bumble&Bumble BB Straight Blow Dry. I have not tried it yet but I will this weekend. Hopefully it will help with my unruly hair. Next up is the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 mascara. I have been wanting to try Tarte products for a while so I was over the moon when I saw this was coming in my bag. This mascara is great. It makes my lashes look really long without making them look lumpy. It doesn't do much for volume but that can be fixed applying two coats.
 I also got a NYX Butter Lip Balm and I am IN LOVE. It is soft, buttery, smooth and extremely pigmented for a balm. I will be wearing this one a lot.
 Also in the bag was a Shadow/Crease Brush from Crown Brush and it is great! To tell the truth, I might need to invest in some brushes. I never really knew anything about applying make up so all I have is a lot of cheap brushes. I got a few nice ones in Korea but I do need to get a few more, and I was so happy to get this one in my bag. It is fantastic.
 And last but not least is the Cailyn #5 Orchid Eyeshadow Polish. I am in love with this eye shadow, it is shimmery and beautiful and so very soft to apply.
And here is a look I did using these products:
