FantaStick

FantaStick is a non-verbal musical and theatrical performance. I hope I'm saying this right because the only thing I know about theater is that I love it. My husband and I wanted to go see a Korean theater performance and went to the Dragon Hill Lodge to find some tickets. The most affordable ones were for FantaStick, for 15,000KRW. We upgraded to get better seats and they ended up being 20,000KRW. We were surprised to get this price because these usually run for a little more, but it seems like it was a special offer of some kind. 

We took a taxi to the FantaStick theater and got there a little early, so we relaxed for a little bit, having a hot drink at Beans Bins, which is located on the first floor of the building.

At the beginning of the show, they said you weren't allowed to use flash, and that was fine by me, but I should have misunderstood because mid-performance the told me to put my camera away. I keep getting told to put my camera away here in Korea. Oh well. Here are some of the shots I was able to snap before they told me to stop.

 The show was great and even though I LOVE taking photos, I was kinda glad I couldn't because that way I could relax and really, truly enjoy the show. It was a great story, the performers were amazing, and I truly loved the whole experience and can't wait to go to more Korean theater performances. After we were done, we headed to a small teddy bear museum located on the same floor and included in the price you paid for the ticket. It was pretty cool too, they had Psy bear, Beyoncé bear, Marilyn Monroe bear, Michael Jackson and a lot of other bear-people. Also keychains and handmade stuff for sale, a little expensive but pretty cute.
