Sunday Songs #8

1. The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition

I first heard this song on a commercial. Can't remember what commercial. Anyway, I wasn't paying much attention 'til the other night when they played it in an episode of The Hard Times Of R.J. Berger which is a completely retarded stereotypical Mtv show that I absolutely love, thank you very much. :) I don't know why I like it so much. I am usually quite neutral about this type of music.

2. The Steve Miller Band - The Joker

This song takes me back to April 2009, when I first moved from Colombia and didn't know anyone at all in Virginia Beach. When the husband was gone for a month and all I had was Netflix. In those weeks, I met two very special people who became a huge part of my life here, and in the first day we went out, they were listening to this song and singing it out loud. It was the first time I heard it and I instantly loved it.

3. Puddle Of Mudd - Blurry

I love this song! Too bad it's the only song from this guys I know. This song takes me back to my first year of Law School. It was always part of my daily dose of music back then.

4. Jimmy Eat World - The Middle

I relate so much to this song, it always puts me in a good mood when some things are not going very well. It just helps me remember that I can be myself and  I shouldn't be worrying about what bitter hearts are gonna say.

5. Elton John - Sacrifice

I love Elton John and I love this song. Every part of it. I don't have a lot to say about it, I don't remember the first time I heard it but I've loved it ever since.
